Founder & Managing Director
Credentials: MBA, Cornell University School of Hotel Administration; Member, ASITA (Association of the Indonesian Tours and Travel Agencies); 20+ years in luxury hospitality management with Aman Resorts and Four Seasons.
Bio: Budi is the visionary force behind Bali Photoshoot and a director at our parent company, Juara Holding Group. After two decades managing some of the world’s most exclusive resorts, Budi identified a need for a truly high-end, service-oriented photography experience in Indonesia. He combines his deep understanding of the luxury consumer with an extensive network across the archipelago to ensure every client receives a seamless, world-class service. Budi’s leadership ensures that the ‘Juara’ standard of excellence is woven into every aspect of our operations.
Elara Wijaya
Creative Director & Principal Photographer
Credentials: B.F.A. in Photography, RMIT University; Published in Condé Nast Traveler, Tatler Asia, and DestinAsian; Certified Drone Pilot (DGCA Indonesia).
Bio: Elara is the artistic soul of Bali Photoshoot. An internationally acclaimed photographer, she possesses an innate ability to capture the ephemeral moments of beauty and emotion that define a journey. Her style is elegant, timeless, and deeply connected to the natural landscapes of her Indonesian heritage. Elara personally vets and trains every photographer in our collective, ensuring our signature aesthetic is consistent. She leads our creative direction, from location scouting to post-production, and her work is guided by the principles outlined in our Editorial Standards.
Dewa Made Kertha
Head of Concierge & Operations
Credentials: Certified Senior Tour Guide, HPI (Himpunan Pramuwisata Indonesia); Expert in Balinese Culture & Traditions.
Bio: A native of Ubud, Dewa is our cultural compass and logistical mastermind. With over 15 years of experience guiding high-profile clients through Bali, he holds the keys to the island’s most exclusive and sacred locations. Dewa’s deep respect for his culture and his relationships with local communities (banjar) allow us to arrange experiences that are simply inaccessible to others. He navigates the complex web of permits, ceremonies, and local etiquette with grace, ensuring every photoshoot is conducted respectfully and smoothly.
Sofia Chen
Client Relations Director
Credentials: B.A. in International Business; 10 years of experience in VIP client management for luxury brands in Singapore and Hong Kong.
Bio: Sofia is the primary point of contact for our clients, guiding them from initial inquiry to final image delivery. Her background in luxury retail ensures a highly personalized and intuitive service. Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Indonesia, Sofia excels at understanding diverse client needs and translating them into a perfectly executed itinerary. She coordinates between the client, the creative team, and the concierge, ensuring flawless communication and an experience that feels effortless.
